Given the general economic climate, we recognize that many of us are not “tra la la la la’ing” our way into this holiday season. However, we here at Todd Jersey Architecture have much to be hopeful for since we know this country under new leadership will be on the path to recovery.
We are also pleased to share that our chosen path of “bleeding green”, when it comes to architectural design and construction, has been shown again to be the way to go when it comes to ensuring a healthier planet and healthy bottom-line. According to Green Build 2008 and McGraw-Hill Construction’s latest analytical reports, “building green results in substantive financial benefits with significant increases in those benefits since 2005. The most pronounced benefit is the decrease in operating costs, followed by the increase in building values. Operating costs in green buildings are 13.6 percent lower, and building values are 10.9 percent higher than for their non-green counterparts.” Let’s let the numbers speak for themselves . . . more |
