Given the general economic climate, we recognize that many of us are not “tra la la la la’ing” our way into this holiday season.  However, we here at Todd Jersey Architecture have much to be hopeful for since we know this country under new leadership will be on the path to recovery. 

 We are also pleased to share that our chosen path of “bleeding green”, when it comes to architectural design and construction, has been shown again to be the way to go when it comes to ensuring a healthier planet and healthy bottom-line.  According to Green Build 2008 and McGraw-Hill Construction’s latest analytical reports, “building green results in substantive financial benefits with significant increases in those benefits since 2005.  The most pronounced benefit is the decrease in operating costs, followed by the increase in building values.  Operating costs in green buildings are 13.6 percent lower, and building values are 10.9 percent higher than for their non-green counterparts.”  Let’s let the numbers speak for themselves . . . more

Lundberg Family Farms Headquarters Design Process Underway

 
 

 

 

Growing great rice since 1937, today the third generation Lundbergs carry on the family tradition by using eco-positive farming methods.  We here at Todd Jersey Architecture are so very proud to be designing the new headquarters (computer-generated design image  above) for this inspiring company at the site where they grow, mill, process and pack their rice products . . . more

 

Construction on Historical Landmark Richmond Plunge Chugs Ahead

 
   
 
 
Like the little engine that could, the process of rebuilding the historical and much loved Richmond Plunge public pool building is moving full-steam ahead.  When all said it could not be done, guess what . . . it is.  Phase I is funded, fundraising is underway for Phase 2.  Check out these great images of construction underway which includes excavating the old pool. . . more
