Our expertise spans across project categories. Contact us to discuss your project.
Talbot Family Compound, Berkeley, CA
This is a project where we doubled the size of an existing single story home by lifting the house to become a new second level and built a new first level directly below the now suspended existing home.
Rammed Earth Residence, Potter Valley (Russian River)
For their home in Potter Valley, California, this family wanted a home that would suit its rural setting and cool and heat itself naturally.
Work from Home ADU, San Mateo, CA
In this project for two tech professionals who work remotely, an existing shed was demolished to make room for the design and construction of a 540sf detached one-bedroom ADU which will serve as their offices and as space for guests.
Bruceville
This fully entitled project on a four acre site was developed to provide reasonably priced rental housing for the “missing middle” in a market short on supply. Designed to LEED Gold standard with an upscale contemporary look, the 125-unit project was designed to be cost-effective and beautiful.
Tri-Valley Reach & Hello Housing ADU
This affordable housing project was designed for Tri-Valley Reach and Hello Housing to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently.
1110 University Avenue
The design for this successfully entitled five story, 36-unit mixed use apartment building on University Avenue in Berkeley, includes exterior circulation and a large roof deck with views of the SF Bay that supports social interaction during sunny days.
Kenwood Inn
The design of these buildings integrated seamlessly with the existing hotel structures while incorporating the latest sustainable building techniques including insulated concrete forms (ICF’s) which create strong, thick and well insulated walls.
Calvary Presbyterian Church Education Building
This complex building houses a church social hall and a private school, with a gymnasium shared by both church and school. Our challenge was to integrate the needs of the two distinct user groups while maintaining their separate identities.
Environmental Traveling Companions American River Camp
For the ETC River Program's base camp on the American River, we designed four buildings: an outdoor kitchen, a main meeting hall, a caretaker's cabin, and a bathhouse.
